Issue/Introduction

Symantec Endpoint Protection has been installed to a drive other than C:\, but there are still files copied to the C:\

Symptoms
Drive space on C:\ goes down even if specifying a different drive letter in the install path during the Symantec Endpoint Protection installation.

Cause

There are some items that are hard-coded to install to the C:\ drive because they have shared components or are themselves shared by other Symantec products.

Resolution

This is by design, and cannot be changed.
