Setting notifications when using the "Unmanaged Detector" feature in the SEPM

Issue/Introduction

You want to know how to find out if the "Unmanaged Detector" feature is detecting unmanaged computers.

Resolution

There are two ways to find out if an unmanaged computer is discovered using the Unmanaged Detector feature.

• Configure a notification

1. Open and login to the SEPM
2. Click Monitors
3. Click Notifications
4. Click Notification Conditions
5. Click Add
6. Select Unmanaged computers

• Alternately, select the Home tab to view the Dashboard page of the SEPM. Click the "More Details" link on the "Security Status" alert,

then examine the "Unknown Device Failures".
