How to view firewall rules on a managed Endpoint Protection agent.

Issue/Introduction

You want to see the firewall ruleset that has been created in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) from the Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) interface.

 

Cause

Working as design.

Resolution

With a policy that has Mixed Control mode enabled under -> Location-specific Settings -> Client User Interface Control Settings for the client group, open the SEP agent interface: 

1. Next to Network and Host Exploit Mitigation, click the Options button.
2. Select Configure Firewall Rules

Note: We cannot see SEPM Administrator custom defined rules on the client side. Its working as design.
