Issue/Introduction

How can a computer be set to bypass the SEE Login permanently?

Resolution

By using the 'Indefinite Autologon' the SEE Login screen can be bypassed indefinitely. A policy must be created as a Group Policy Object (GPO) and pushed to the computer where this feature is required.

From the Hard Disk Computer Policy Logon screen:
Turn on indefinite Autologon mode by choosing an ending year of "---" in the drop-down menu. Use this mode carefully, as it increases opportunities for a brute-force attack on the Windows logon.

We recommend that you only apply indefinite Autologon to computers on which all users authenticate to Windows with tokens. Remove this policy to restore the more secure authentication provided by SEE Hard Disk.
