Endpoint Protection error: "C:\clientpkg\scm-ui.jar\com\sygate\scm\console\ScmHelper.exe" when exporting a client install package

Issue/Introduction

After creating a client installation package, when you click OK to export the package, you receive the following error: "C:\clientpkg\scm-ui.jar\com\sygate\scm\console\ScmHelper.exe"

Symptoms
Error is generated after clicking the OK button

Cause

Issue can result from Java 1.6.3 installed

Resolution

To resolve this issue, follow the below steps:

1. Uninstall all versions of Java.
2. Install a Java version earlier than 1.6.3
3. Reconnect to the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.
4. Export your installation package.
