Issue/Introduction

This cumulative point fix article contains fixes for SMP and other Solutions issues provided to customers POST-8.1 RU6 until RU7 is installed.

These are the fixes contained:

SMP (Symantec Management Platform) Fixes:

AD import task is failing to import the users and computers from the Security group after.	TECH250129
Trying to create a CEM package we get an error: Failed to acquire encoded certificate size.Failure code:-2146893792	N/A
After imaging, the reboot to production task loses connection with task server when assigned to a new task server	TECH250324
Inv_Audit data is being deleted before the defined time range in the coresettings.config	N/A

Important: In order for the fix for "Trying to create a CEM package we get an error: Failed to acquire encoded certificate size.Failure code:-2146893792" to work properly, the following core setting should be added: 

1. Open “coresettings.config” under “C:\Programdata\symantec\SMP\Settings” and add the following line:

<customSetting key="CertificateGenCryptoProvider" type="local" value="Microsoft Enhanced RSA and AES Cryptographic Provider" />

2. Save changes.
3. Restart “Altiris Services” service.
