Symantec CCS Vulnerability Manager Connector connects to CCS-VM and lets you import assets and vulnerability data into CCS. The assets are imported using asset smart rules. The vulnerability data that is imported into CCS helps you to aggregate the risk and compliance score of the associated assets. You can leverage the reporting capabilities of CCS to create reports and dashboards.
Prerequisites for installing the CCS-VM Connector are as follows:
Refer to the topic "Enabling API access for connector in CCS-VM configuration", in the CCS-VM_Connector_Quick_Start_Guide.
CCS-VM is a web-based service that fetches data from CCS-VM into Control Compliance Suite to leverage the reporting capabilities of CCS.
CCS Vulnerability Manager 12.3 provides the following pre-defined panels:

CCS-VM Top 10 most common vulnerabilities | Displays the top 10 most common vulnerabilities in your environment. |
