Issue/Introduction

Client System⇔API Gateway⇔Back End System

The API Gateway can control the Keep-Alive for connection between API Gateway⇔Back End System.

However, there doesn't appear to be a way to control the Keep-Alive for connection between the Client System⇔API Gateway.

Can the API Gateway control the Keep-Alive connection between the Client System⇔API Gateway?

Environment

All supported versions of the API Gateway

Resolution

This can be configured under Manage Listen Ports -> Advanced properties

The following parameters can be configured.

  . MaxKeepAliveRequests  

  . KeepAliveTimeout

If MaxKeepAliveRequests =1, disable Keep-Alive.
