Issue/Introduction

A CRU or Chassis Replacement Unit is a replacement unit without one or more of the following hardware components:

• Hard Disk Drives (HDD)
• Power Supply Units (PSU)
• SSD Boot Device(s)
• Add-on cards such as Network Interface Cards (NIC)
• Rail Kits
• Power and serial cables

Customers are required to remove the hardware components from their existing unit and install them into their CRU.
