PGP Command Line Version Tested: 10.4 build 94
PGP Command Line Version Affected: All versions
I receive a PGP encrypted file from my customer. That file should be decrypted without writing to a temp file. As the file is being decrypted with PGP cmd line, the output should be allowed to pipe into cat command so that it can be fed into our ETL server (Informatica). This will avoid creating a decrypted file at rest in Unix server. We do not want any decrypted file on the Unix server that has PGP Command Line installed.
This feature is available in GPG, but I was surprised that PGP CL does not have this option.
A Feature Request has been submitted for "enabling PGP Command Line to decrypt directly to an ETL program without creating a decrypted temp file on the PGP Cmd Line server".
