Symantec Encryption products are able to perform in-place upgrades from Windows 7/8/8.1/10 to Windows 10, or later versions of Windows 10, with the assistance of upgrade scripts provided by Symantec.   The scripts are required at this time in order to perform an in-place upgrade.   This request is to allow an upgrade to take place within Microsoft WSUS without using our scripts. SED Version Affected: 10.3.2 MP13 and higher SEE version Affected: 11.0.1 MP1 and higher Update 9 March 2017: Support has worked directly with Product Management and has determined this feature will not be included at this time. There is an unfilled dependency upon Microsoft which prevents upgrading Windows without using our script.
