Resolution

Symantec has released Embedded Security: Critical System Protection v7.0.0 MP1. This release resolves few customer reported issues and addresses few internal fixes. This release supports an upgrade path to v7.0.0 MP1.

Resolved issues

A read-only registry key that had prevention applied could be deleted from the registry editor.	This issue is fixed.
Policy folders or policies are not listed when you right-click an asset group or directory or folder under Assets tab.	This issue is fixed.
Summary graph shows inaccurate numbers of agent statistics for online and offline agents.	This issue is fixed.
sisservicectrl command fails to stop sisipsservice in certain conditions.	This issue is fixed.
For a custom sandbox, the events are now reported correctly for the logging options Log when denied and Log as trivial when denied.	This issue is fixed.
Update policy wizard stops responding when you try updating a policy.	This issue is fixed.

Upgrade support matrix for agent and management server

You can upgrade the agent and the management server to a higher version. The following table provides the upgrade support matrix for the agent and the management server.

Points to remember:

If you are upgrading the management server and the agent, upgrade the components in the following sequence:

1. Management server
2. Agent

Symantec Embedded Security: Critical System Protection does not support upgrading the management console. However, the management server and management console must be the same version. Therefore, you must uninstall the existing management console and then install the version of the management console that is the management server.
