What steps need to be done to have one SMP/E environment for Easytrieve release 11.6 installation and yet use it for two different systems?

Resolution

You certainly may have one SMPe installation of the Easytrieve Report Generator release 11.6 product and then copy the files such as CBAAJCL and CBAALOAD and CBAAMAC, etc for the second standalone system.

For the second system, please note that the JOB06OP1 job will need to be rerun to ensure that the correct DSN name for your EZOPTBL is linked into your EZTINI member of your CBAALOAD for the second system.

You will also need to ensure, please, that your EZTPOPT module is copied from the first system's release 6.4 CAILIB to the new CBAALOAD libraries for when you run in compatibility in either system.
