CA Application Delivery Analysis MTP (NetQoS / ADA)

Issue/Introduction

In Application Delivery Analysis, you have the ability to create an incident that alerts when a specific performance threshold is crossed.

Details here:

https://docops.ca.com/ca-application-delivery-analysis/11-0/en/using/using-the-incidents-page/understanding-incidents-incident-responses-and-investigations

Can you amend the time that the incident closes?

When does the management console automatically close an incident?

When one full hour of acceptable performance has passed.

• When the server in question enters a maintenance window.

• When the incident is 24 hours old. If the problem persists, the management console opens a new incident.

Environment

ADA 10.4 through 11.0

Resolution

The one hour requirement is hard coded and cannot be amended.

There are no plans to have this changed by CA development. Please go to CA Communities should you wish to raise this as an idea for future consideration.
