Symantec Drive Encryption’s Local Self Recovery Wizard is displayed twice during enrollment when the system is not running on AC Power.

 

This is a known behavior which comes up when a system does not have AC power.  Symantec Drive Encryption requires AC power when performing any encryption/decryption routines.  As this is the case, AC power must also be used during enrollment which would incorporate any features related to Symantec Drive Encryption, including Local Self Recovery.

 

To prevent the Local Self Recovery wizard being displayed twice during enrollment, please plug the system into AC power.
