Symantec Endpoint Encryption Help Desk Recovery snap-in allows Helpdesk users to provide end users with response keys to enable authentication to encrypted drives.
However, in a large environment it is impractical to install the snap-in on hundreds of machines. So too, in an environment containing several Endpoint Encryption Management Servers and databases there is no straightforward way for Helpdesk users to switch between databases.
A web based Help Desk console would allow Help Desk users to quickly access the Recovery functionality in order to provide end users with response keys.
