Does the IT Management Suite or Symantec Management Platform support IPv6 implementations? How about the Solutions?

IPv6 support has been added in ITMS 8.7.2 release, however, it requires that customers have properly configured their IPv6 environment (check Microsoft documentation).
In order to enable IPv6 protocol usage, go to your Agent Communication Profile (under SMP Console > Settings > All Settings > Agent/Plug-ins > Symantec Management Agent > Symantec Management Agent Communication Profiles) and under "The Internet Protocol version x (IPvx) is specified for this communication profile" and click "Edit"
The communication profile configuration page in ITMS console allows administrator to prohibit the client from using either IPv4 or IPv6 protocol or set the preferred protocol.
SMA (Symantec Management Agent) can operate on the machine where either IPv4 or IPv6 protocols are completely uninstalled and not available. The supported protocols are shown on “Network Status” panel on the Agent UI:
Prior to ITMS 8.7.2 Release:
IPv6 Only environment is not supported and the majority of the functionality will require IPv4 to work. In order to properly function, the majority of the Solutions and the SMP and its clients themselves will need to use IPv4.
