Symantec Mobility: Work File solves three distinct use cases for enterprise customers:

• Native Editing on mobile devices
• Sync and Share across desktop, mobile and web
• Provide access to enterprise resources such as SharePoint, Windows File Share etc.

This Work File mobile application comes wrapped with a layer of security and policy management to provide secure mobile access to content repositories. The Work File app is available via public app stores, does not require implementation of Mobile Device Management and is available as a hosted or on-premise solution to fit customer's preference.

Symantec Mobility: Work File have the following versions available, depending on the needs of the customer:

• Symantec Mobility: Work File
• Symantec Mobility: Work File Enhanced
• Symantec Mobility: Work File Advanced.

Note: Symantec Work File Enhanced and Symantec Work File Advanced must be purchased as separate add-ons to Symantec Mobility: Workforce Apps, Symantec Mobility: Application Management, Mobile Device Management, Threat Protection or Mobility Suite solutions  The basic Symantec Mobility: Work File version has no SKUs and is included for no additional charge for all Workforce Apps, Mobile Application Management and Mobility Suite customers.

Symantec Mobility: Work File Enhanced

• Supports mobile viewing, editing, and versioning on iOS and Android devices
• Allows end users to sync content across mobile devices, desktop and web
• Offers basic Digital Rights Management (DRM) features built into the product

Note: This enhanced version is suitable for customers looking for a robust file sync and share solution.

Symantec Mobility: Work File Advanced

• Supports mobile viewing, editing, and versioning on iOS and Android devices
• Allows end users to sync content across mobile devices, desktop and web
• Offers basic Digital Rights Management (DRM) features built into the product
• Includes a set of content connectors to be used to expose internal IT infrastructure like SharePoint, Windows File Share etc. or external content repositories like Box, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, etc.

Note: This advanced version is suitable for customers looking for a comprehensive content management solution with access to existing file repositories
