FTP site is now available for downloading static Intelligent Update package for Symantec Protection Engine

Resolution

Earlier the automation for downloading the Intelligent Update was difficult because of the file naming convention which changed periodically (date wise). You can now download the appropriate static Intelligent Update package from the following Symantec FTP site.

ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/antivirus_definitions/norton_antivirus_corp/static

Static Intelligent Update package name with the specific file format and link for full definitions is listed in the following table.
