It is now possible to customize the email address, which is used by Software Portal to send out notifications. You can choose between using the sender's personal email address or a customizable common email address. In case the personal email address is not defined, then the common email address is used.

Notification emails from Software Portal have a hard coded email id of the sender as "[email protected]" but with new feature it's possible to customize a hard coded sender email:
create new registry 'string' value key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Altiris\eXpress\SoftwarePortal
Value name: "NotificationsSender" 
Value data: desired email address

Key can be deleted and email id from Software Portal will be changed to default "[email protected]"
