Currently there is no way to print to file the information provided by the File Share Encryption User Interface. This Request is to have a reporting button or option that will print all the information that is displayed on the File Share Encryption User Interface inside of Symantec Encryption Desktop window. The user interface shows all the folders and status of the folders that are being managed by File Share Encryption and the list of users who can access these resources. Customers who are being mandated to use encryption for compliance reasons need to be able to have this information available in an exportable format for proof of compliance. 

 

Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers.  This Feature Request is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version of the product. 

 

Technical Support filed a Feature Request to add this product feature. Note that an feature request is exactly that, a request. There is no committed date for this request from the Encryption Product Management team, nor from the Encryption Engineering team at this time.
