Path Explorer keeps setting of Path Optimizer Loop Options as long as the Path Explorer dialog window is open. However, close and reopen Path Explorer, and the settings will be reset.
How to keep Path Optimizer Loop Options or reuse the settings?
CA Agile Requirements Designer 3.2
This information only pertains to the Path Explorer configuration when using the 'Legacy (ARD 3.1)' Optimizer, or 'Original (ARD 2.8)' Optimizer settings. If you are using the 'Latest' release of the Optimizer, if ARD 3.2+, the option for Loop Insertion is not available for manual configuration.
For the 'Legacy (ARD 3.1)' and 'Original (ARD 2.8) Optimizers, settings can be saved as parameter on Path Optimizer Loop Options. To launch the Path Optimizer Loop Options dialog window, select the Loop Settings button in the Path Explorer.
After you configure the order, counter, Fixed Insertion, and All Combinations check box, click [Save] button.
Next, input Loop setting name and click [OK]
And then, the setting is saved as parameter.
Close this window and Path Explorer, and reopen Path Optimizer Loop Options. And then, setting is reset.
On the other hand, you can see saved parameter at upper right corner. Click + button, and then saved setting is restored.
If you want to delete a save parameter, click X button. It will be removed.
