Issue/Introduction

HP released limited LVM support with Vertica version 8.1.  Does Performance Management support the use of LVMs?

Environment

CA Performance Manager release r3.7 or newer

Resolution

Performance Management has not been tested for use with a Data Repository server whose data or catalog directories reside on LVMs.

As such at this time Performance Management continues to lack support for LVMs in any supported release.

To request this be changed please submit an Idea post to the Performance Management Community site for consideration.
