Issue/Introduction

After applying maintenance for z/OS 2.2 upgrade and performing an IPL, why are CA Datacom Server connections logins failing with:

[CA][ODBC CA DATACOM/DB Driver][EXT SEC]CAS9SAFC TRANSLATOR NOT FOUND

Environment

z/OS 2.2RACFCA Common Services 14.1 CCIMVSCA Datacom Server 14.0CA Datacom/DB 14.0

Resolution

In this case, the customer was using the wrong load library which was missing the CAS9SAFC module for RACF.

Problem was resolved once they used the latest version and assured that both CCITCP and CAIENF were in the STEPLIB.
