How to reset the configuration setup utility password?

CA Service Catalog R14.1

CA Service Catalog R17.x

Resolution

Please find below steps to reset the password of service catalog setup utility

1. Open Catalog command prompt from start - All programs - CA - "Service Catalog - Command Prompt"

2. Change directory to 'scripts' folder

3. Run the command 'configurator.bat -resetpwd'

4. Recycle the services of catalog

Additional Information

Note: This will reset the password of catalog setup utility and when you open the launch setup utility link you will be prompted to provide a new password.
