Issue/Introduction:

Is 12.1 CA Output Management Web Viewer compatible with the Microsoft Edge Browser? Will Web Viewer be supported for the Edge browser?

Resolution:

The Microsoft Edge browser is not recommended for use with 12.1 Web Viewer. Microsoft Edge does not support ActiveX Controls so it is not possible to print, email, save or export reports if using MS Edge with Web Viewer 12.1.

The Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 11 browser is the only browser left that supports ActiveX Controls so that is the only one that you should use with Web Viewer 12.1.

Web Viewer 12.1 will not be modified to Support the Edge browser.
