Verify that the Easytrieve 6.4 product is installed properly.

Do you have a DEMO or IVP job to verify my installation of Easytrieve r6.4?

Environment

Easytrieve 6.4.

Resolution

The job needed to test out Easytrieve 6.4 is called the IVP (Initial Verification Program)  

It's located in; 

PDSQUAL.INSTALL.JCL.PDS(JOB7)  

this job has 2 steps, executing EZTPA00 twice. 

It also uses; 

pdsqual.SAMPJCL(SAMPFILE) and 

pdsqual.SAMPJCL(SMPLEZT)

Additional Information

In the install jcl for Easytrieve, you'll find install job7.  There are    

two steps in this EZT program, the first creating the sample PERSNL file   

and Inventory files, and the second is a job that reads the PERSNL file and

and creates a little report.  So if the PERSNL file exists, just run the   

second step to test.
