Issue/Introduction

Even after restarting the Spectrum tomcat service (OneClick server) several times, landscapes are not shown in Connection Status console in the OneClick client.

For example, landscape & Events (Archive Manager) are not shown in the following:

If working correctly, they should be seen similar to the following:

Environment

DX NetOps Spectrum all currently supported releases

Resolution

Check if the landscapes exist the Landscape map by running the following command under $SPECROOT/SS-Tools

./MapUpdate -v

Does this command show you the "missing" landscape?

If so, kill the Location Server process (LocServer.exe) in the Task Manager (Windows) or at the command line in Linux (kill <PID of LocServ process>). For example:

[spectrum@SpectroSERVER Spectrum]$ ps -ef | grep -i locserver

spectrum    1911    1350  0 01:13 ?        00:00:00 /usr/Spectrum/LS/LocServer

[spectrum@SpectroSERVER Spectrum]$ kill 1911

Spectrum processd will then restart it.

Then, wait a few minutes and check the Connection Status again. The landscape should now be present.
