How do I order - download the DADS Plus for CICS fixes from the Broadcom web site?

Issue/Introduction

The client needs to download the DADS Plus for CICS  fixes to support CICS 5.5. How do I find the  DADS Plus for CICS fixes on the Broadcom web site?

Resolution

Please sign on onto Broadcom web site.

On this  SUPPORT page are SIX boxes. Please left click on the upper left hand corner box labeled Mainframe Software

You will then be on the MAINFRAME SOFTWARE SUPPORT web page
 
On this  web page click on the Middle TOP box label Product Downloads

You are now on the Download Management web page
In the Search Your Product BOX enter DADS and select DADS Plus 

Now you are on the web page to download DADS Plus fixes

On this screen left click on Solutions and Solutions will be underlined. 

Next left click on DADS Plus for CICS MVS

Now left click on 4.0 in the release column 

Now you will see the DADS Plus fixes

You now add the desired fixes to you CART. Once you are finished you click on the CART and order the fixes.

Next the order screen appears on the RIGHT on the ORDER LINE I click the download option  HTTP VIA Browser

I save the Zip file on my desktop hard drive. I then unzip the zip file that contains the fixes and I have FIX NUMBER.BIN members.

I then BINARY transfer each FIX NUMBER.BIN to a PDS on the mainframe. I call the PDS member name the fix number. These PDS members become the SMPPTFIN to the receive - apply -check-apply.
