Issue/Introduction

The Hiper Notification for SI11939 is confusing?  I'm thinking there probably is a PTF or list of PTFS that are downloadable to bring OPS to a certain Maint level.

Also, in SI11939  there is a hyperlink that is invalid / broken

Environment

Release : 13.5

Component : OPS/MVS

Resolution

SI11939 alerts customers to the General Availability of the OPS/MVS 13.5 Complete Release.

A Complete Release (CR) indicates that as of that time no new features will be published to that release.   Code fixes will continue to be developed for the release as needed.

Any new features will go out sometime after the next initial release, whose date of release is still to be determined but will be later this year.

There is no need to install the 13.5.0000 release on top of a previously installed 13.5 release with some maintenance applied.  Customers may opt instead to get to the same level by applying all fixes through middle of February.  For anyone who is not already at 13.5 they are encouraged to instead apply the 13.5.0000 level, which will include all fixes up to the release date.

For anyone viewing the hyper notification with the broken link, a copy of the document referred to is on the OPS/MVS Community page at https://community.broadcom.com/mainframesoftware/communities/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?MessageKey=accb43f0-6c71-4c18-9d6a-8685c910b40f&CommunityKey=314ccf76-ce2d-4f94-910a-9c331dd2c932&tab=digestviewer#bmaccb43f0-6c71-4c18-9d6a-8685c910b40f
