This article is related to the common FAQ's related to CA (Mainframe & Enterprise) Product Licensing.

Resolution

1. Where can I find my LMP Keys?

LMP keys are available on the Support Portal. for more details, please refer the article LMP Keys on Support Portal.

Note: Only automated keys are feeding to this area.  Our internal IT team is working on an enhancement to have all LMP keys (automated & manually generated) to feed to this location. 

2. How can I get my Enterprise License file?

To get the Enterprise License files, Contact Licensing Team by contacting Broadcom Customer Care or creating a ticket using a webform

3. How do I request an EKG key for DR testing?

**If site keys are being used, an EKG key is no longer required.  The site keys can be used for DR testing.

To request an EKG key, please contact the Licensing Team by contacting Broadcom Customer Care or creating a ticket using a webform.

4. Are new LMP keys required when upgrading to a new machine?

If your current keys are site keys, new keys are not required.  Please keep in mind that usage must be reported to Broadcom based on the terms of your contract.

If your current keys contain machine information, new keys are required.  To request a new set of keys, please contact the Licensing Team by contacting Broadcom Customer Care or creating a ticket using a webform.


5. I’m getting key expiry emails from the system. How do  I proceed?

If your contract is a perpetual contract, then the existing license keys provided originally will work.  
If it’s a Subscription contract, the new keys are required. To get the new keys, please contact the Licensing Team by contacting Broadcom Customer Care or creating a ticket using a webform

6. My contract has been renewed. Do we need new keys to run our product?

It depends upon the contract. If your contract is a perpetual contract, then the existing license keys provided originally will work.  
If it’s a Subscription contract, the new keys are required. To get the new keys, please contact the Licensing Team by contacting Broadcom Customer Care or creating a ticket using a webform

7. Where can find Dev codes, Material codes and description for LMP product keys?

All the LMP keys codes are available in the LMP Listing page on the Support Portal. 

8. We have recently migrated to the new machine (CPU), do we require a new key?

If the existing key is a site key then, then the existing license keys provided originally will work. If it is a Machine Specific key, then the new keys are required. To get the new keys, please contact the Licensing Team by contacting Broadcom Customer Care or creating a ticket using a webform

9. How can I get the Trial license?

To get the trial license, please contact the sales team. A request can be sent to the sales team by submitting the Sales form. After submitting the form, one of our Sales Representatives will contact and discuss the needs.
