Issue/Introduction

Upgraded from CA RS 1906 to CA RS 1912. Since the upgrade getting a S13E ABEND when pressing PF3 to END a CA7 Online Session. 

Resolution

Abend S13E was introduced in z/OS 2.4.

IBM has a fix to ignore the S13E abend.

Per IBMs response to our customer:
"The 13E has always occurred. Prior to release 2.4 we would ATTACH (or ATTACHX) a command using TERM=NO. We needed to change this to using TERM=YES. This is now causing our ATTACH ESTAI to get control for the 13E abend when it did not before. This results in a RC=20 for a SELECT CMD() along with the 13E abend message. We decided to go ahead and take APAR OA58617 and look in to adding logic to ignore the 13E.

As a circumvention you can use "CONTROL ERRORS RETURN" to not terminate a dialog when the RC=20 occurs on the SELECT CMD()."
