Issue/Introduction

I'm having trouble installing the APM agent for the Windows server via ACC. The agent is not being recognized in APM Command Center. I have installed the package archive in the correct directory.

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : APM Agents

Resolution

The Agent could not connect due to the port number associated with the host. You have port 8080 configured for the below, which is for the UI. By default, port 5001 is the port that is used for the Agent to connect to the EM.  During package creation in the Agent Command Center, the host and port was being entered as ServerA.com:8080


If you do have the EM set up to have Agents connect via port 5001 (default port), then repackage the Agent using ServerA.com:5001
