How to change the default columns for the Team tab for "Other Work"

Issue/Introduction

  • I'm trying to change the default columns for the Team page for "Other Work".
  • Is there a separate Team object that is used for "Other Work" or other NPIOs (Non project investments)?

Environment

Release : All Supported Releases

Component : CA PPM SAAS STUDIO

Resolution

The Team views associated with the Other Work NPIO are Staff List and Staff List - Detail

To edit these:
1. Go to Administration->Studio->Objects->Team-Views
2. Edit the Staff List and Staff List - Detail rows as applicable

Notes:
  • Check to make sure the partition being edited matches your other work items
  • If any users have customized their team view for NPIOs, they won't see this change unless it's published or they do a Restore Defaults from their view.
    • Publish will overwrite all user's customized views for the Team Staff View
  • There is a known issue where some Team view changes such as the Staff List will not get pushed automatically to users even if they haven't customized their view.
    • See 145870 for more details and workarounds on this issue.
