Issue/Introduction

 

Customer ran into an issue working with their on-premise ACC and an Agent they downloaded from SaaS. They are not able to use the 11.1 Agent in the on-premise ACC. It is giving the error "Must include base bundle." They cannot create a new package or add the 11.1 Agent to a package.

 

And one question too. Will the Agent report to the SaaS ACC or the on-premise ACC?

 

 

 

 

Environment

Release : 10.7.0/11.x

Component : APM Agents

Resolution

Engineering had these suggestions.

1. Download all the Java Agent bundles from DX SaaS and import them into 10.7 ACC

This is not supported.

2) You may have to modify some of the bundle properties files

...metadata/weblogic.bundle -- update the version numbers

3) Submit an enhancement request  to update the 10.7 Agent with newer capabilities found in 11.x

4). Do not manage 11.1 Agents in APM 10.7 ACC
