AWI: Poor performance, errors com.uc4.ecc.plugins.im.exception.ImException: Send REST request failed

Issue/Introduction

In a new environment, the Automic Web Interface performs slowly. After review, in the AWI log lines similar to:

2020-02-13 14:56:33,106 s-jsse-nio-8443-exec-2 [INFO ] Automic 100/AUTOMIC/AUTOMIC 0 0000000002015891  [com.uc4.ecc.plugins.im.utils.ImUtils] - Infrastructure Manager plugin will not be load because of following exception.
com.uc4.ecc.plugins.im.exception.ImException: Send REST request failed

These are repeated every 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Environment

Release : 12.3

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Cause

The infrastructure manager plugin is not configured correctly.

Resolution

If the infrastructure manager plugin is not configured, this can create a large amount of overhead.

Remove webui-plugin-im-1.2.0.jar from your webinf/autoinstall folder.
