Issue/Introduction

In the map > "vCenter Overview" perspective, I see the datacenter--> esx -> vm relationship
However, if I select one application that is inside a monitored VM and in Application view I can't see any data of vcenter

How can I display in TeamCenter in what ESX & Vcenter a specific application is running?

Cause

This problem is related to defect DE423459

Environment

- APM 10.7.x on-premise
- Infrastructure Agent from SaaS

Resolution

Fix already in APM SaaS
To be fixed in 10.7SP4

Current workaround:
1. Stop MOM
2. Open the MOM/config/IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.properties
3. Add below hidden properties:
introscope.appmap.em.correlationmodule.cfg.hostname.extract.0=DOCKER:hostname,docker_node;OPENSHIFT:hostname,ose_pod_nodename,ose_pod_hostIP;KUBERNETES:hostname,k8s_pod_nodename,k8s_pod_hostIP;:hostname,ipAddress;ORACLE_DB:hostname;VM:hostname,ipAddress
introscope.appmap.em.correlationmodule.cfg.hostname.correlate.0=HOST:VM,AWS_EC2,DOCKER,KUBERNETES,OPENSHIFT;AWS_EC2:DOCKER,KUBERNETES,OPENSHIFT;
introscope.appmap.em.correlationmodule.cfg.hostname.crosslayer.correlate.0=HOST:*;AWS_EC2:*;DOCKER:*;KUBERNETES:*;OPENSHIFT:*;VM:*;ORACLE_DB:INFERRED_DATABASE;

IMPORTANT: ensure that above properties for correlationmodule are without any trailing whitespace

4. Start MOM
5. Open TemCenter, from Application Layer, you should be able to see the VM tab available from "Component View" panel
