Issue/Introduction

What is the difference between having PRODUCT(CAIRIM) vs PRODUCT(CAISSF)?

Environment

Release : 14.1
Release : 15.0

Component : CAIRIM - CA RESOURCE INITIALIZATION MANAGER

Resolution

There is absolutely no difference between PRODUCT(CAISSF) and PRODUCT(CAIRIM). The relevant piece of information is the INIT(CAS9INIT) value. The value for PRODUCT can be anything you want and it is not validated within the code. The CAS9INIT specification refers to an actual load module that gets executed.
