MSP Field Mappings Not Working

Issue/Introduction

After successfully creating a new bidirectional field mapping under Administration - MSP Field Mappings, the values do not appear to be saving back from Microsoft Project.

When the project is saved back from Microsoft Project, the value in the corresponding Clarity field remains blank. 

Environment

Release : 15.7.1

Component : CA PPM MICROSOFT PROJECT (MSP)

Resolution

This will occur if Microsoft Project was open while the field mapping was being created. The new field mapping will only work correctly if either: 

1. MSP is closed while the field mapping is being created OR
2. MSP is closed after the field mapping is created. The field mapping will then take effect the next time Microsoft Project is opened.
