Issue/Introduction

I need a new license for my API Management (Layer 7) product how do I get one?  How do I request a license for my product?

Environment

API Management products include:

  • API Management Gateway
  • API Legacy portal
  • API Developer Portal
  • Live API Creator
  • Precision API Monitoring
  • Mobile API Gateway
  • Rapid Auth

Resolution

All licensing requests now go through our licensing team.  From the Support portal select case management
 


Now select create a new case, by click on “Create Case”

  

For the product (#1), you will select "Licensing-CA", fill all the required fields as needed and click on submit.

 

Alternatively, you can use you could use the submit a question option as well.

And Select "Licensing - CA Enterprise Software" as the "Request Type"

 

Either way, once you have created the case,  you can view or update the case by clicking on the case number in the support portal to open it:
