When a device is retired and replaced in CAPM, will the old/new device automatically appear in the same views?

Issue/Introduction

When a device is retired and replaced in CAPM, will the old/new device automatically appear in the same views?

For example, if I have a view on CPU utilization will the retired device appear for the timeframe that device was active and the new device start when the old is retired and the new device active?

Component : IM Reporting / Admin / Configuration

Resolution

You can now report on the new and retired device in the same or separate group. If you want to report on the new and old device together, we recommend that you place them in the group.
