CA XCOM for z/OS view history not displaying correctly

Issue/Introduction

I applied maintenance to XCOM v12 to current levels of maintenance and now when a user goes to open an XCOM history listing, it doesn't let him in right away. When he selects 'S' beside the transfer he would like view and presses enter, nothing happens except a * appears beside his S, then he can press PF3 which will then allow him to view the transfer logs.

The line command S does not result in the display of the detailed information as it used to and still should.

Cause

This is due to an enhancement made in CA XCOM 12.0 where the connection to the server is released to free up resources so that another transfer could be run.

Resolution

The PTF RO76173 ISPF Active Transfer Display now requires PF3 to proceed. This is due to a change made in CA XCOM 12.0 where the connection to the server is released to free up resources so that another transfer could be run. Therefore, the method of displaying the progress of a transfer will not not work the same as in previous releases.
