Operator Console launched from https USM does not load: spins forever

Issue/Introduction

https Operator Console launched from https UMP/USM does not load: stuck spinning

The following is checked:

•  cabi, wasp and UMP are correctly configured with HTTPS
•  Summary Dashboard reports opened directly on https://cabi:8443/cabijs works fine
•  https://<UMP_server>/user/administrator/summary-dashboard Also works fine
•  Summary Dashboard is showing correct cabi_url

Release : 9.2.0

Component : UIM - CABI 4.10 Bundled

Cause

This issue has only been observed when connecting to the UMP using the virtual host and have been observed as an intermittent problem. The cause might have to do with custom configuration of the virtual host.

Resolution

This issue is not observed when opening the UMP in a browser directly via IP address of the UMP server or hostname, rather than to the custom virtual host.
To workaround the problem Open the UMP via https://<ump_ip_address or hostname>:<httpsport> and then launch the Operator Console via USM.
The https operator console launched from USM might now also be available from when browsing with the virtual host address.
