Does PAM support the use of PIV cards to login to web portals?

Issue/Introduction

PAM can autoconnect to a Windows using the RDP applet using the credentials on a PIV card.  This feature is called PIV passthrough.  Is this same functionality available for web portals?

Environment

Release : Any version of PAM through 3.3.2, as of this date.

Component : PRIVILEGED ACCESS MANAGEMENT

Resolution

The ability to login to a web page with PIV passthrough is not currently a feature of PAM.  If this feature is desired please create an Enhancement Request, as a feature in the PAM Community.  Once there it will be considered for inclusion by Product Management.
