r11.5 System Agent installation problem on Windows

Issue/Introduction

When installing the Workload Automation Agent r11.5 release on Windows non-primary drive (a drive other than the OS drive), the installation completes, but there is no agentparm.txt file created, nor is the service created. No errors are displayed on the screen.

Environment

Release : 11.5

Component : CA WORKLOAD AUTOMATION AGENT R11.5

Operating System : WINDOWS

Cause

Known Defect - Sustaining Engineering reviewing and will address in future release.

Resolution

There is a known defect when installing the 11.5 Workload Automation Agent on a non-primary drive on Windows OS.

Workaround: Install the agent on the C drive instead.
