DUAS - SAP Manager does not start "Unable to open file for writing"

Issue/Introduction

Unable to launch any SAP jobs and the universe.log file contains errors such as these:

Cause

Wrong permissions in Manager for SAP data files caused probably by a Server crash / startup with a wrong user.

 

Resolution

Rename the following SAP data files:

data_sap/uxsapjnl.dta.(sap activity journal file)
data_sap//uxsapevt.dta (sap event history file)
data_sap/uxsaphst.dta (sap history file)

These files will be automatically recreated when the SAP Manager is started with the correct user permissions.
