Issue/Introduction
How can we enable the Advanced Password Services in the CA Siteminder Policy Server if we enabled the Basic Password Services during the Policy Server configuration?
Resolution
The Advanced Password Service is now bundled with CA SiteMinder Policy Server installer from R12.5 and is selected as the default option (instead of Basic Password Services).
Please do the following to enable the APS:
Re-run Policy server configuration wizard.
In the first screen, don't choose to configure any of the features/components. (unselect all check box)
In the second screen choose Advanced password Services and then complete the configuration.
