Issue/Introduction

This article provides instructions for identifying the currently installed cumulative patches (CP) for Identity Manager (IM). Depending on your deployment environment—either on-premise or Virtual Appliance (vApp)—follow the appropriate procedure below.

Resolution

For On-Premise Deployments You can confirm the installed cumulative patch level via the following methods:

  1. Log in to the Identity Manager User Interface (UI).
  2. Click the About link located at the bottom of the screen to view the currently installed cumulative patch level.
  3. Alternatively, navigate to the following file path on your server to check the cp-version.txt file: \standalone\deployments\iam_im.ear\config\com\netegrity\config.

For Virtual Appliance (vApp) Deployments To verify patch levels in a Virtual Appliance environment:

  1. Log in to the vApp dashboard.
  2. Select the Help menu.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to view the list of all deployed patches.
