Issue/Introduction

Upgrade of Domain Manager from R14 SP2 to SP3 creating multiple Java files in CIC/jre/bin directory. What are these Multiple Java files ?

Environment

Release : 1403

Component : DESKTOP AND SERVER MANAGEMENT

Resolution

This is a known issue when upgrade is performed to version 14.0 Sp3. JRE in CIC directory is not upgraded to Open JDK at the time of upgrade. The reason is ,cic/jre is being used by some CIC processes at the time of SP3 upgrade  and  the installer cannot replace the old JRE with the new one.  Engineering is working on this issue to resolve in upcoming release .

At present we have a work around to resolve the JRE issue:

1. Caf Stop
2. Kill all the Java Services from Task Manager.
2 Replace CIC/jre with SP3_DVD\WindowsProductFiles_x86\CIC\jre
3. Caf Start
