Issue/Introduction

After installing CAPKI on the Service Manager and on the Service Manager Dialog, it is still not possible to connect through TLS.

The Dialog shows: Insecure connection

Environment

Release : v12.2 / v12.3

Component : AUTOMIC WORKLOAD AUTOMATION

Cause

Incorrect CAPKI installation

Resolution

A good way to troubleshoot an issue with the Service Manager Dialog is to use the ServiceManager Command Line Program (CLI) or UCYBSMCl.exe

For instance: UCYBSMCL [.EXE] -c GET_PROCESS_LIST -h computer name -n phrase

When subsequently you find an error 126 or error 193 (CAPKI library not found), please check the following:
- In regedit.exe > Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\Shared\CAPKI5\InstDir the installation directory of CAPKI should be set correctly. (Correct if necessary)
- In Windows > System Properties > Advanced > Environment Variables the variable %CALIB% and %CAPKI_HOME% should be set correctly (or should not be set at all).

If this does not solve the issue, log a case at Broadcom Support.
